PATH is a European research and innovation project aiming to support the safe and effective integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into cancer care through the development of a secure, interoperable, and privacy-preserving digital platform. The project addresses the growing complexity of cancer management, where large volumes of heterogeneous clinical data must be analyzed to enable personalized treatment and better clinical decision-making.
Why PATH matters for all:
- Clinicians and Hospitals – AI-supported tools can assist oncology workflows and clinical decision-making
- Researchers – Federated infrastructure, datasets and validated AI models for cancer research
- Partners and Industry – Collaboration opportunities in digital health, AI and cancer innovation
- Patients – PATH studies how digital and AI-supported tools can help improve cancer care in a safe, transparent and responsible way. The project will explore how patient data, patient-reported outcomes and patient experience can support better care pathways, while protecting privacy and keeping healthcare professionals in control of clinical decisions
